Los Angeles, CA (December 2005) - Statement Calabasas Magazine, the premium upscale luxury magazine out of Southern California is hitting the big apple in time for the holidays. The magazine has been creating a nationwide buzz with recognition on television ("LIVE with Regis and Kelly" and "Extra!") and prints publications (Celebrity Living Weekly, Soap Opera Weekly) and now it’s available in New York. The magazine began just over a year ago with a direct-to-mail circulation of 20,000 copies and 40 pages of paid advertisements. Currently, it goes out to 56,000 homes and features 90 pages of paid advertisements. With continually climbing numbers in both readership and advertising the magazine has become one of the top notch publications to come out of Los Angeles in just one year.
This months issue boasts celebrities galore including cover star Wilmer Valderrama, Hollywood's hottest bachelor, from That 70's Show, as well as Chris Harrison, the host of The Bachelor. You can also read about Praminder Nagra of ER, Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother and Lisa Edlstein of House. The magazine continues to receive a great deal of praise for its gorgeous layouts and artistic style, winning numerous awards including the 2005 Maggie Award for "Best Consumer Cover of the Year" for the magazines exceptional issue featuring actress Janel Maloney. Not only does Calabasas' photography rival national publications, its content does the same.
